本案是與3D列印材料商產學合作的作品,由於3D列印技術日漸普及,設計主旨在於呈現材料的特質,排除烤漆補土等加工程序,完成產品等級的燈具作品。同時必須體現3D列印製程的優勢。
Digital Lamp以基礎數學形態”GYROID” 作為基礎,形變到極小曲面上,再進行拆分製造,以複雜幾合的形態設計來展現3D列印製程在設計到製造流程上的優勢。
Digital Lamp is a collaboration with 3D printing materials Company. Due to 3D printing technology increasing popularity, Digital Lamp is presenting the characteristics of the material, eliminate the processing procedures such as paint and product grade works. It also presents the advantages of the 3D printing.
Digital Lamp is based on the mathematical form”GYROID” and presenting the advantages of manufacturing tools though the complex form.
