該設計分為兩階段發展,首先,透過基礎數學形”SPLIT P SURFACE” 作為基礎,在3D環境中進行找形(Form Finding),形成複雜幾何形,第二階段,透過賦予網格權重的方式,對複雜幾何形態分化(Form Conversion),將單元轉換為展開曲面(Developable Surface),使的曲面製造能夠容易的在平面加工上達成,並以可展曲面的小單元拼裝再現複雜幾何。
This design Represented Minimal Surface through Developable Surface. It can also adapt the complicated bending direction. Through Weighted- Mesh computing, Geometry divided into stripe type which can fabricating easily.
